Disclosure & Editorial Policy

Editorial Independence

QuantNest News editorial decisions are made exclusively by our editorial team based on news value, public interest, and reader relevance. No advertiser, investor, or third party has any influence over our editorial content.

Advertising & Sponsorship

QuantNest News does not currently accept advertising or sponsored content. If this policy changes, all sponsored content will be clearly labelled as such and kept separate from editorial content.

Affiliate Links

This publication does not currently use affiliate links. If we link to a product or service, it is solely because we believe it is relevant and useful to our readers.

Source Confidentiality

We protect the identities of confidential sources. Sources are described by their role and relationship to the story (e.g., "senior analyst at a Five Eyes agency") rather than by name, unless they have consented to identification. We do not disclose source identities under any circumstances, including legal demands, without the source's consent.

Responsible Vulnerability Disclosure

When QuantNest News independently discovers or is made aware of an undisclosed vulnerability, we follow coordinated disclosure practices:

  1. We notify the affected vendor with a reasonable disclosure window (typically 90 days)
  2. We do not publish technical details that would enable exploitation before a patch is available
  3. If a vendor fails to respond or produce a patch within the window, we may publish limited details after coordinating with CISA
  4. We never trade vulnerability information commercially

Corrections

We correct factual errors promptly. Corrections are appended to the original article noting the date, the nature of the error, and the correct information. We do not silently edit articles after publication without noting the change.
